The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) was signed into law in an unprecedented effort to jumpstart the American economy and create or save millions of jobs as well as address long-neglected challenges so that the US can thrive in the 21st century. Pursuant to ARRA, SPC provided comprehensive occupational health and safety services for the $150 million track and facility design-build renovations at Amtrak’s Chicago Union Station Rail Yard.
