The purpose of the development of the industrial hygiene survey program was to recognize, evaluate, and control of the environmental stresses arising at the recycling plant facility. The survey was conducted to identify potential IH and Ergonomics hazards at this facility in order to review the effectiveness of the existing personal protective equipment (PPE), engineering controls, and administrative controls. The survey included the visual inspection of the physical plant, familiarization with recycling equipment and process, identify potential IH and Ergonomics hazards.
